SPN 100 FMI 1 — Engine oil pressure low

SPN 100 identifies the parameter the control module is monitoring — engine oil pressure low. FMI 1 is the failure mode the module logged against it. Both numbers matter: the same SPN with a different FMI is a different repair.

• Low oil level
• Sensor or wiring fault
• Internal oil pump or bearing wear

• Stop and check oil level now
• Confirm with a mechanical gauge
• Listen for knock before any restart
